Borussia Dortmund confirmed not to sell Erling Haaland, who Chelsea are after. The Borussia still have plans with the Norwegian striker.
Haaland became Dortmund’s mainstay bomber, in the last one and a half seasons. Recruited from RB SalzburgThe 21-year-old has contributed 57 goals.
Haaland’s sharpness made many giants hunt him. One of them is Chelsea, which is in need of a new interpreter.
Last season, the front row Chelsea not so threatening to the opponent. Only Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner became the club’s top scorer with 12 goals.
Chelsea will reportedly provide space for Erling Haaland on the front line. Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud reportedly headed for the Stamford Bridge exit.
Dortmund insist they will not let Haaland go this summer. They still have plans with the player.
‘Nothing has changed. We are still planning with Erling for the new season,” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Bild.
Currently, Haaland has not returned to the team because he is still on vacation. The player nicknamed The Terminator will return to Germany on Monday (12/7).
“Erling Haaland is currently staying fit at home in Norway,” Zorc said separately to Sport1, Saturday (10/7).
“He will be back with us in Dortmund for training on Monday,” said Zorc Erling Haaland.
