The World of Córdoba
The book “Treaties of Córdoba” by Dr. Othón Arróniz Báez, is one of the nine books that were reprinted for the Bicentennial of the historical event that occurred in our city on August 24, 1821.
Mayor Leticia López highlighted the contribution of the founder of this publishing house since, in the search for material on this event, it was the only book they found. There will also be a book in comic mode for children.
He said nine books “by Cordovan writers and of all genres: juvenile, researchers and children” will be published. “We will have a short film and a staging on August 24.”
They will search in Madrid
In order to rescue documents related to the Treaties, the Municipality will request the consent of Felipe de Habsburgo for a Cordovan delegation to travel to Madrid in August to visit the General Archive of the Army, in Spain.
