“I am pleasantly surprised,” Tanghe says in a first reaction. “Ultimately, the Flemish Community has been my client all these years, so I consider it recognition of my work. It is probably intended that way.”
“It’s nice to get that recognition at the end of my work,” laughs Martine Tanghe. “I still miss work. But I can let go a little more every day.”
