Because of the flooding, there will also be further individual operations by fire brigades, water rescue services and the police during the night. This was announced by the Integrated Control Center (ILS) Würzburg at the request of the BR.

Over the course of the day there were over 250 missions in the ILS Würzburg area. The district of Kitzingen is mainly affected there. But also in the Main-Spessart districts and the city and district of Würzburg, cellars had to be pumped out and streets closed.

At the request of the BR, the ILS Schweinfurt reports that the situation is slowly easing and the streams are receding. The district of Hassberge and the southern district of Schweinfurt are particularly affected. During the day there were well over 300 assignments that had to be processed. The ILS spokesman could not say how many more missions there will be.

Due to the heavy rain, floods occur in some parts of the Fürth district. The district office announced this on Facebook. In the district of Neustadt ad Aisch-Bad Windsheim, a so-called major damage event situation was determined according to the Bavarian Disaster Protection Act.
