Vaccino Johnson & Johnson: at Pala Ponti the first open day is a flop

The first day of the four open days in July organized by the Ausl and dedicated to the over 60s was not a start with enthusiasm. At the Pala Ponti di Moletolo, in fact, few people from Parma have decided to undergo the single administration of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. In any case, yesterday was an important opportunity for several citizens who were unable to get vaccinated previously.

Mario Chiari was also waiting for the single-dose: «I had booked for the double administration of Pfizer that I should have received in August, but when I learned of the open day I canceled. I think the single dose saves time and is more convenient ». Having come out from behind the white curtains of the clinics with the patch on his arm, Mario confides: «You can’t hear anything, at first I was slightly frightened. Now I am very happy and relieved because I don’t have to come back for another dose. I recommend it, I know that my age group is the least vaccinated, it is important to do so ». The Ausl, also for this reason, has thought of a series of open days dedicated to those born in 1961 and in previous years. In July, there are three other appointments on the calendar: on July 18 in Borgotaro at the Avis headquarters, on July 19 at the Vaio vaccinal point and on the 21 at the Casa della Salute in Langhirano. To make an appointment you must call the toll-free number 800 608062 or contact the cup desks of the Ausl or in pharmacies that make cup reservations.

Armando Lubino is also among the vaccinated at Pala Ponti, waiting for the canonical fifteen minutes under the awnings: «This is an unmissable opportunity for latecomers like me. As I learned about the open day, I immediately booked and I’m happy to have done the Johnson, because so I have to go here only once: the tooth removed, the pain removed. In a few days I will be able to define myself fully vaccinated ».
