VVD, CDA, D66, GroenLinks and the PvdA will form the new coalition in North Brabant. That is the conclusion of formators Karla Peijs and Lambert Verheijen after talks with these parties, reports Omroep Brabant.
The formateurs will explain their final report on Monday. The details of the agreement between the five parties will also be announced that day.
There was already an administrative agreement from the period before the Provincial Council got caught up in an administrative crisis in May. At the time the provincial government fell, because VVD, CDA and Local Brabant no longer wanted to continue with coalition partner Forum for Democracy.

It was in line with expectations that VVD, CDA, D66. GroenLinks and PvdA would form a new coalition. The formateurs indicated a week and a half ago that this is their preference. Now it has also been possible to supplement the current administrative agreement before the summer recess.
The talks between the five parties about the new agreement included agriculture and nitrogen, energy transition, heritage, culture, sport and quality of life.
