Who tells the truth?
Given the kind and smiling image that Kate Middleton has always had, it is difficult for many to believe the version that Meghan Markle told during the interview with Oprah last March. When the driver asked him:
Was there a situation that made Kate cry? “Referring to a rumor that Meghan had made the Duchess of Cambridge cry, she did not hesitate to respond:” No, no. The opposite happened ”.
Meghan then explained:
“A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something related to the girls’ dresses and it made me cry, it hurt my feelings. I thought that, considering the context of everything that was happening those days, and knowing what was happening with my father, it made no sense not to support me like everyone else was doing. […] He sent me flowers and a note apologizing. He did what I would have done myself if I knew I had hurt someone, take responsibility. “

It is now, four months after that statement, one of the columns of Vanity Fair France magazine has delved a little more into this little dispute between the duchesses.
Apparently the big fight of the dresses of the little bridesmaids was due to the use of the stockings, a matter of royal protocol more than anything. “It was hot, but Kate wanted to follow the protocol and make the girls wear stockings (including Charlotte), Meghan objected, they quarreled … tears ran down both sides before returning to order,” the publication reads.
This last sentence written in the column could indicate that neither possibly made the other cry, but that both were in a stressful moment that surpassed them despite being a not very relevant topic.
A source recently told US Weekly that Prince William’s wife wants to improve her relationship with Meghan:
“Kate has gotten much closer to Meghan since (Lilibet) was born, sending her (notes and) gifts and trying to build a relationship.”
Let’s not forget that during a public event, Kate said after the birth of Lilibet Diana:
“We don’t know her yet. I hope it’s soon”.
