– The bomb squad is coming over from Oslo on Friday morning. They will make investigations on the spot and secure the object for transport to safe destruction, writes operations manager Terje Magnussen in the West police district in a press release on Friday morning.
– Should not pose a danger
The bomb squad landed in a police helicopter in Bergen on Friday morning and is now on its way to the site to conduct investigations.
The object was found in a house on Lone in Arna east of Bergen on Thursday night. Police believe they have reason to suspect that it contains explosives.
NRK is informed that two people have been arrested in the case.
According to Magnussen, the object is placed indoors.
– It should not pose any danger to the surroundings or surrounding houses, says Magnussen.
