The ministry “expresses its confidence that the management of the largest emergency hospital in the country will be provided in conditions that emphasize the strategic importance of this unit,” the quoted document also states.
The scandal in Floreasca started last Wednesday, when 17 of the 31 primary doctors and specialists from the Emergency Reception Unit (UPU) Floreasca have resigned on the grounds that they no longer get along with the manager of the hospital Sorin Pana, accused of behaving abusively and that because of him the unit was left without drugs, and in the evening they took place discussions with the Minister of Health Vlad Voiculescu.
He assured the medical staff that solutions had been found to their problems, and subsequently manager Sorin Paun resigned.
