The popular Hideo Kojima game “Death Stranding” gets a director’s cut this fall.
About two years ago, the game was released “Death Stranding” to Playstation 4, created by “Metal Gear Solid” man Hideo Kojima and starring “The Walking Dead” actor Norman Reedus.
Now we have been told that the game will be released again for Playstation 5 in the form of “Death Stranding: Director’s Cut”, something that is perhaps more common in the film world. However, Hideo Kojima is very interested in film, which may explain this.
“Death Stranding: Director’s Cut” contains new missions, more combat techniques, nicer graphics and a racing mode where you can compete on custom tracks against other players. If you already have the PS4 version, the upgrade costs $ 10.
The game takes place in an alternative reality where the United States is destroyed after a huge disaster, where now dark creatures are roaming around. You play as Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), a courier tasked with traveling across the country and reconnecting isolated people over a wireless network. Along the way, you must fight both monsters and malicious people, as well as learn to carry heavy packages in the best way. To help him, he also has a baby in a jar, who can feel the presence of the horrible creatures.
During the course of the adventure, he meets characters played by famous faces from films such as Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Lindsay Wagner, Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn.
“Death Stranding: Director’s Cut” will be released for Playstation 5 on September 24.
What do you think of “Death Stranding”? Will you play it again?
