Popular book series ‘The seven sisters’ gets a replacement after all

Lucinda Riley’s popular book series, The Seven Sisters, is getting an eighth volume. In addition, the Irish writer will no longer hold the pen herself: Riley died of cancer in June.

With the death of Riley, the book series seemed to come to an end without a final denouement, but that is not counted without her son Harry Whittaker. He will continue her work. That made Riley’s small Dutch publishing house Xander known.

“Before her death last month, Lucinda wrote a number of key passages, as well as taking detailed notes about the story,” it said in a press release. “It was her express wish that her oldest son Harry would complete the series, should the worst happen.”

Whittaker is not a neophyte in the book world. He previously worked with his mother on the Guardian angelseries. “My mother has entrusted me with the secrets of the series, and I will keep my promise to her by sharing it with her readers,” Whittaker wrote.

The intention is that the book, which tells the story of the mysterious adoptive father, will be in bookstores in spring 2023.
