The song find the perfect setting in the largest Antillean island. This is one of the reasons why, for the first time, the San Remo Music Award. An opportunity that opens for interpreters from all over the country, between 15 and 48 years old, professionals or amateurs who bet on this genre.

The event conceived between November 16 and 21 will take place at the teatro Karl Marx and it will also have collateral activities: business fair, culinary event and another from fashions, which will take place in the emblematic National Hotel of Cuba.
Concluded each gala in the teatro Karl Marx, the Havana night will continue to be an echo of San Remo Music Award, while shows have been designed in the Club 500 (known as Círculo José Antonio Echevarría) in which renowned exponents of patio music will alternate with large-scale international guests.
Until the 25th This month, the Organizing Committee of the event awaits the audiovisuals of those interested in participating in this first phase of the event. They must send a video in horizontal format (maximum 3 minutes long) in which they will interpret a free song, in Spanish, made with a mobile or other device. In this performance they can be accompanied by a minimal musical format or simply, a capella. All these materials must be completed with a biographical synthesis of a page, particular data and personal contact channels.
A jury highly qualified will be the one in charge of choosing the 16 finalists who will participate in the contest galas. In them a Grand, Second and Third Prizes, in addition to the always expected Popularity vote and that of the specialized press.
This is how this contest that ponders the song is projected and constitutes one more step — and always necessary — to highlight the faces of the music from the patio. For the consecrated and new, the song dresses in length and applauds those who defend it from the diverse and versatile of a Cuban repertoire that identifies our nation beyond the seas. For its part, the contest, in terms of conception, will give many surprises to the public.
