Meanwhile, the US medical regulator CDC also reported that as of early July, the Delta strain has also become dominant in the country. Today, the spread of the strain is 51.7%.
Recently, US health officials warned of the rapid spread of the Delta strain, as its prevalence doubles every two weeks.
In the United States, over the past 14 days, the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 14%, to an average of 13 thousand per day, but the number of deaths has decreased by 19%, to an average of 250 per day.
