In the family pool in the idyllic Aubachtal in the Neuwied district of Oberbieber, which has currently been transformed into a large beer garden, the first of three concerts will start on Saturday, July 17th, at 6 p.m.: An “Italian evening with Rocco and Francesco”.
Oberbieber. The duo ?? Rocco and Francesco ?? played together from 1996 to 2008 on major stages in different countries with the Italian rock band ?? Rocco & Band ??. In 2004, the chef Rocco was invited to cookery shows on Pro7, SWR and RTL throughout Germany. Francesco was played by Brian May (Queen) for the musical? We will Rock you ?? inquired in Cologne and played there several years together with Brian May on stage and also worked for him on various projects.
In addition, he founded a new band, the “Zentury XX”, with great success and over 70 concerts a year. The southern music is in their blood, because ?? Francesco ?? was born in Spain and learned to play the guitar there. The program that the two have put together is a mixture of mostly Italian music, but also Spanish, sometimes rocking, sometimes dreaming.
A suitable meal will be offered for each concert. Bolognese or vegetable lasagne is served here. This must be pre-ordered four days before the event and paid for in the evening. Numbered concert tickets can be purchased during opening hours at the outdoor pool counter in Oberbieber for twelve euros.
