The National Commission for Vaccination and Epidemiology (CNVE) confirmed this Tuesday that will start with the vaccination of all pregnant women of our country with the Pfizer / Biotech vaccine.
The announcement of this vaccination it happened last week but this Tuesday it was confirmed that all women will be vaccinated, regardless of the risk group in which they are located and that the time between the first and the second dose will be 21 days.
This was pointed out by the Chief of Health, Daniel Salas Peraza, at the COVID-19 report press conference this Tuesday:
Pregnant women can be vaccinated as long as sign an information sheet in which you can confirm that you read and understand the information regarding vaccination. Today the agreement is extended and it is clear that pregnant women can be vaccinated regardless of the prioritization group, so any pregnant woman who does not have an underlying risk factor could be vaccinated “.
The only requirement that these women must present to be immunized is having had at least one prenatal checkup, either by public or private road. To get vaccinated, you can come to your health center to schedule your vaccination appointment in a timely manner.
