The killer is now posing as a patriot, he paraded in a sweatshirt with a Polish eagle in court. He was scolded by the judge for that!
The bloody massacre took place on February 2 in one of the apartments at ul. Archimedes in Kędzierzyn-Koźle (Opole Province). Mateusz stayed there with his friend, but according to their relatives, they were not a couple, especially since the woman was married. Michał B. joined the joint party, tormenting his older companion to death.
– He hit Mateusz K. several times with his fist all over his body and put a candle in his anus. This led to numerous fractures of the ribs, lung contusions, chest failure, and rectal tears, the prosecutor Wojciech Kamiński enumerated in the indictment.
The victim’s mother is convinced that her son was not at fault, he was sick and was not looking for a tumor. – He had epilepsy, and in December, before Christmas Eve, he underwent trepanation of the skull – says Ms Janina (69).
Was it for a woman?
Michał B. confessed to beating, but denies the incident with the candle. He admitted that although he drank a liter of vodka, he remembers that they had argued because Mateusz was jealous of the hostess.
– He thought we were having an affair. He was aggressive and pushed me away and I punched him in the ribs. He fell to the ground, but was alive. It didn’t look like anything had happened. He went to another room while we continued to drink. I finally fell asleep, woke up at 3 am and went home – he said in the courtroom. He also admitted that there was no electricity in the apartment that day, so they lit it with candles.
– This gentleman is telling the truth. From the account of a friend with whom it happened, it appears that Michał B. and his friend wanted to rape her, and her son stood up for her and was beaten up. Nothing will return my son to me anymore, says the desperate mother.
Michał B. is in custody. He is facing 10 years, but as he has been punished before for beatings and has acted under recidivism, the penalty may increase up to 15 years. He looked confident in court, and he came to the hearing dressed as for a demonstration of the National Movement, for which the judge reprimanded him.
The accused pleaded guilty to the beating and offered to voluntarily submit to the penalty of 6 years in prison. However, the prosecutor’s office rejected this request.
