WWE Monday Night RAW #1467

We are on the road to the “Money in the Bank” PPV and it is the penultimate RAW issue in the WWE “Thunderdome”. Today MVP will be making his in ring comeback after his knee injury. Together with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley he will meet challenger number one Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Charlotte Flair will speak to us regarding the attack by RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. The Miz awaits the participants of the “Money in the Bank” ladder match of the men on Miz TV.
Both Miz and John Morrison are already sitting in the ring and are surrounded by ladders. The two suitcases hang over their heads and Miz talks about his past cash ins and describes himself as the best superstar who has ever participated in this type of match. But someone else is going to win this year and that man’s name is John Morrison! The latter looks confidently in the direction of the suitcase and the next superstar is announced. It’s the man The Miz redeemed his suitcase for, Drew McIntyre! The Scot comes out and remembers that event very well. After his victory in the Elimination Chamber, Miz took advantage of the situation and became the new WWE Champion. Since then, McIntyre has been on the hunt for his title and will give everything to get this suitcase so that his quest can finally be successfully completed. Ricochet comes to the ring next. Miz reminds him of the incredible action against Morrison. Both men have been counted and will meet again today. Ricochet seems strengthened by this action and wants to defeat Morrison later that evening. Suddenly Riddle’s music starts. There is also a review of Riddle from last week when he injured his leg and was no longer able to take part in the main event. Riddle also immediately climbs the ladder and is disappointed not to have won the match for his best friend Randy Orton. But that doesn’t matter. Riddle will dedicate his Money in the Bank win to the Viper. The segment is interrupted by a man who will not be there, AJ Styles! The RAW Tag Team Champion criticizes the fact that there was a triple threat match last week instead of a normal singles match. Also, Riddle was pinned and not Styles! Omos looks at the ladder Riddle is sitting on and now tips it over. Riddle falls down and lands on the injured ankle. The segment ends with Omos and Morrison launching a couple of attacks, which McIntyre and Ricochet prevent. After the first break, the first match of the evening will take place.
1. Match
Singles Match
John Morrison (w / The Miz) won against Ricochet via Count Out.
Match time: 13:10
-The Miz blocked Ricochet’s way with his wheelchair and Ricochet couldn’t get back into the ring in time.
Jinder Mahal came into the hall today with his motorcycle and was asked for an interview. Mahal meets Drew McIntyre today and he talks about the past between the two superstars. At that time they were on a team and were good friends. In the meantime, according to Mahal’s statements, the Scot no longer seems interested in a friendship. Apparently he thinks he is above Mahal. Jinder plans to bring him back down to earth later that evening.
Reginald, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler get ready their match. Alexa Bliss stands behind them and Reginald wants to draw attention to this. But when Jax and Baszler look back, Bliss can no longer be seen. Shayna has clearly had enough of Alexa and Reginald. She wants to concentrate fully on the match today and nothing more to the games.
We see a flashback of the Hell in a Cell Match between Bobby Lashley and Xavier Woods. Kofi Kingston promised to take revenge for the actions after the match and wants to crown himself WWE Champion. Today Woods will come back and play alongside Kingston against Lashley and MVP.
Nikki Cross aka “AAS” beat Shayna Baszler last week and is continuing to build on her strong form. Today she will compete with Naomi and Asuka and at “Money in the Bank” Cross will crown her strong form by winning the suitcase. Asuka and Naomi are enthusiastic about the new appearance, but slow down Nikki a little when it comes to winning the suitcase. Nonetheless, the women will now compete together in an 8 Woman Tag Team Match.
2. Match
8 Woman Tag Team Match
Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Eva Marie & Doudrop (w / Reginald) won against “AAS” Nikki Cross, Naomi, Asuka & Alexa Bliss via Pin to Cross by Jax after a Samoan drop.
Match time: 11:55
– Alexa Bliss tried again unsuccessfully to hypnotize Reginald.
Backstage, the party is still in full swing with the Hurt Business. But it is interrupted by Kevin Patrick. He wants to know why MVP requested this tag team match. MVP has been disrespected by Kingston and wants to prove that the words are incorrect. Even the WWE Champion has had enough of New Day’s taunts. Today he wants to show together with MVP why the two call themselves Hurt Business and at Money in the Bank Lashley will finally destroy this “dream” of Kofi as WWE Champion.

Singles Match
Mustafa Ali won against Mansoor via pin after a scooter.
Match time: 02:53
– Mustafa Ali got his leg caught in the ring ropes. Mansoor helped him to free himself, as a thank you he was rolled up by Ali.
They show us the highlights from last week’s main event. Now, shortly before his match, Drew McIntyre is questioned by Sarah Schreiber about Jinder Mahal’s statements. The Scot has little interest in Mahal’s words and is more focused on the Money in the Bank ladder match in two weeks’ time.

Drew McIntyre won against Jinder Mahal (w / Shanky & Veer) via DQ after Shanky intervened in the match.
Match time: 10:15
– Jinder Mahal suplexed McIntyre on the commentary desk.
After the match, the three men continue attacking Drew McIntyre and Mahal goes one better with the Kallas. Then Mahal grabs McIntyre’s sword and disappears with it.
The New Day are available for an interview with Kevin Patrick. He asks the two of them about their game plan for the tag team match. Kofi is confused by this question. After all, Patrick speaks about the most successful tag team of all time. Woods underscores the fact that they will beat MVP and Lashley today, and at Money in the Bank, Kofi Kingston will once again end the WWE Champion and All Mighty reign.

Tag Team Match
The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik) won against T-Bar & Mace via Pin to T-Bar by Dorado after a Hurricanrana pin combination.
Match time: 03:32
We see Riddle backstage. Damien Priest arrives and asks him about his injury. Riddle speaks a bit in riddles, but seems fit enough for his match against AJ Styles.

Riddle won against AJ Styles (w / Omos) via pin after a roller coaster.
Match time: 13:01
– Riddle’s ankle gave him major problems during the match.
– The Viking Raiders came out again and distracted AJ Styles. Riddle used this for the scooter to win.
Charlotte stands in the ring with crutches and already has a microphone in her hand. The “Queen” talks about her possible absence from “Money in the Bank” and only because of a cowardly attack by Rhea Ripley. All because Rhea is afraid of flair. “The Nightmare” doesn’t wait long and comes out too and makes fun of Charlotte. She also has crutches with her and pretends to be badly injured. The “Queen” is not enthusiastic about this performance and looks bored at the performance. Rhea has a microphone and is certain that the injury is just a fake. She also immediately checks her statement with a kick in the direction of Charlotte’s knee. This evades and lets the Charade fall with it. Both women grab their crutches and want to hit each other. Flair evades and prefers to withdraw. The segment comes to an end with a star down for the two women.

Tag Team Match
Jaxson Ryker & R-Truth won against Elias & Cedric Alexander via pin to Cedric Alexander by Jaxson Ryker after a tilt-a-whirl side-slam.
Match time: 01:04
– WWE 24/7 Champion Akira Tozawa walked into the ring before the match and was curled up by R-Truth. However, the cover only lasted until 2. After that, Tozawa disappeared backstage and Truth followed him. This turned the match into a handicap match.
– Elias withdrew after about a minute and left Cedric Alexander in the lurch.
Bobby Lashley and MVP are getting ready for today’s main event.
Next week, John Morrison faces Ricochet in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Sheamus will also defend his WWE United States Campionship against Humberto Carrillo and we will see Omos’ first singles match. He will face Ivar while AJ Styles will face Erik.
In two weeks there will be a RAW Tag Team Championship Match. The Viking Raiders challenge AJ Styles & Omos.

Tag Team Match
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) won against Bobby Lashley & MVP via pin to MVP through Kingston after the Trouble in Paradise.
Match time: 14:34
Lashley helps MVP bounce back after the match and looks angrily at Kingston. Today’s edition goes off-air with a star-down between the two opponents.
