The town hall was closed to the public for an hour on Monday afternoon while the police investigated. Civil servants were allowed to continue to work. People who had something to do in the town hall had to ring the bell.
The police and the municipality initially did not want to say what the threat was, but according to the municipality it was not a bomb threat. The threat came in at a different address. That agency had warned the municipality.
The municipality reported Monday evening that the doors of the town hall will open again on Tuesday morning and that the public can enter again without ringing the bell.
