Police agents mistreated a woman during a struggle outside a local, in San Cristóbal, according to a video.
In the audiovisual that circulated on social networks, it was observed how first a policeman pulls her by the arm when she walks towards the door of the place.
When she resists, the agent pulls her arm with more force and, once on the street, he used his leg to destabilize her and knock her to the ground.
The spokeswoman for the law enforcement institution, Lieutenant Colonel Ana Jiménez Cruceta, explained that the video does not fully show what happened.
Jiménez Cruceta said that the woman, in the first place, was aggressive with the agents who tried to close the business that could not operate due to the curfew.
“They only put the other part, although that is no justification for any person to be mistreated,” he added.
He reported that the situation is being handled in the San Cristóbal prosecutor’s office.
