The hacker who carried out the attack told reporters that he did it for fun, and it was technically easy.

Hackers hacked the most popular accounts of the social network GETTR of the former US President Donald Trump on the day of the platform’s launch, reports Insider.

Specifically, the hackers changed user profiles on the platform.

The page of former Trump Speaker Jason Miller, who founded and leads the platform, was also attacked, which lasted for about 1.5 hours. In addition to him, the pages of ex-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, as well as the official support page of GETTR, were attacked.

Instead of names on these accounts, the inscription “@JubaBaghdad was here 🙂 ^^ freedom to Palestine ^^” appeared on these accounts. The consequences of the attack were eliminated in an hour and a half.

Former US President Donald Trump’s team launched GETTR on Thursday, July 1.

The journalists contacted the hacker. He explained that he hacked into accounts just for fun, and it turned out to be easy to do. He added that the management of the social network should not have launched the project without making sure that the platform was secure.

Another problem with GETTR was the flooding of the platform with pornography. In particular, users spammed the first post of the social network with graphic hentai videos and images of Hillary Clinton’s face added to nude photos.

We will remind, the team of the ex-President of the United States of America Donald Trump on Thursday, July 1, without publicity launched a new social network called Gettr.
