Solid job creation in the private sector in the United States

The creation of jobs in the private sector in the United States for the month of June clearly exceeded expectations, since they stand at 692,000, against 600,000 of consensus and 886,000 for the revised reading for the month of May (978,000 in first estimate).

In June, small businesses created 215,000 jobs, compared to 236,000 for medium-sized and 240,000 for large, shows today’s ADP report. Services represent the bulk of performance, with 684,000 job creations, against 68,000 for the goods-producing sector. 332,000 jobs were created in the leisure and hospitality sectors.
