The first game title in Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall series is said to have been abandoned by its developers. Their non-existent interest in the game title should have led to it now being taken over by hackers and cheaters who will now live the flea with minimal to no reprimand from the developer.
This has led to the website savetitanfall.com has been started. A website whose goal is to highlight the problem that the first Titanfall is currently suffering from. Their goal is to get Respawn Entertainment to tackle the problems that should have made the game title basically unplayable.
During the weekend, it all took a real step further. Hackers yesterday set their sights on Respawns’ popular game title Apex Legends. The game was hacked to give players on all platforms a pop-up that urged users to visit just savetitanfall.com. This attack should also have kept players from being able to line up to play new matches and choose from the different game modes that the title offers.
The creator of the website has said that it has nothing to do with this weekend’s attack on Apex Legends. It is clear, however, that the problems the first Titanfall suffers from today have gone so far that more and more people are starting to get tired. Whether tactics such as destroying players of other game titles are considered justified or not is something that can be discussed. Respawn Entertainment has managed to fix the problems caused by the hackers in Apex Legends since the attack occurred.
