Rugby: the club of Béziers (pro D2) announces the death of one of its young players


A drama shakes the professional rugby club of Béziers. Adam Lassaux, a young 18-year-old player who played at the training center of this pro D2 club, has died, the association announced this Sunday, on Twitter and on his site.

The ASBH (the sports association Béziers Hérault) explained that it was an “accidental” death, without revealing more details on the circumstances.

Two titles of champion of France

This player, of the 2003 generation, had participated in winning the club two titles of champion of France.

“The Training Center, the professional section and all ASBH collaborators are associated with Adam’s family as well as with the Association. We share your pain following this disappearance. Our warmest thoughts surround everyone, ”AS Béziers Hérault said on his Twitter account.

Several personalities of the oval ball reacted on the social network, like Dimitri Szarzewski and Yannick Nyanga, respectively assistant coach and sporting director of Racing 92. Biarritz Olympique Pays basque and Montpellier Hérault Rugby, also expressed their condolences on Twitter.
