JAKARTA – How to Unregister Indosat Ooredoo Card is different from the registration process. It’s easier, because you don’t need NIK data or Family Card numbers.
What is needed when unregistering an Indosat Ooredoo SIM card is only the number you want to unregister.
Well, there are two ways to unregister an Indosat Ooredoo card. Here are the details:

Using Phone
– Open call menu
– Dial code *123*4444# then press OK or call button
– Users will be asked to choose one of the offers consisting of registration, check status, check NIK, and delete registration data
– Select and type the number 4. Then press OK
– Users will be asked to re-confirm to agree to the unreg process.
– After that they get a notification Unpair number has been successful.
Using SMS
– Open the SMS menu
– Type 4444 in the destination number field
– Type UNPAIR#Mobile Number#. For example, UNPAIR#081202403030#
– Once done, the user will get a notification that their number has been successfully unregistered.

Why should unreg? Because it is important to avoid duplicate data stored in the Director General of Population and Civil Registry (Dukcapil) when you want to change cell phone numbers.
