Nikita Mazepin, Nicholas Latifi in Kimi Raikkonen have received a penalty from the race management after the Grand Prix of Austria. After the race won by Max Verstappen no fewer than eleven drivers had to report to the stewards, but only Mazepin, Latifi and Räikkönen actually received a penalty.
During the race, the race management already had their hands full with several drivers who did not follow the rules. Lando Norris and Sergio Pérez received time penalties for forcing Pérez and . respectively out of the lane Charles Leclerc in addition, various punishments were handed out. Yuki Tsunoda, for example, did not follow the rules of entering the pit lane. The Japanese AlphaTauri driver crossed the white line within which the drivers must stay as they dive into the pit lane.

Räikkönen knocks Vettel off the track
During the race, the stewards did not have to be bored and after the Austrian Grand Prix, overtime was also worked. In addition to Mazepin, Latifi and Räikkönen, George Russell, Sebastian Vettel, Pierre Gasly, Daniel Ricciardo, Antonio Giovinazzi, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Sergio Pérez report to the race management. Of those eleven drivers, only Mazepin and Räikkönen ultimately received a penalty. Räikkönen is given a twenty-second time penalty and two penalty points for causing the crash with Vettel, who was tagged off the track by the Finn.
Ignore yellow flags
Mazepin and Latifi are penalized for ignoring the yellow flags resulting from the collision between Räikkönen and Vettel. They both receive a thirty second time penalty and also receive three penalty points. A total of eight drivers had to report to the stewards for that offense, but Mazepin and Latifi are the only ones who have actually been penalized for ignoring the yellow flags. The FIA is not taking any action against the other drivers.
