Gert Verhulst is still – a bit – Samson’s owner. The farewell tour in which he says goodbye and his daughter takes over, was postponed by corona. There are still 45 concerts planned: “My father deserves that beautiful goodbye”, Marie Verhulst tells ANP

“I was the extra owner for a few months, but then the lockdown came,” says Marie Verhulst. “There have been many shows, but the very last one is the most special for him.”
Verhulst himself is also eager to perform again. “Our songs are listened to, the children watch the program, but there is no direct contact. That feedback is very important: children are honest about how they find something. I’ve never really had their live reaction.”
There is also a new album coming with ten old songs and two new songs. “I hope we can start touring soon.”
