Super and Super TT

Ever heard of Super gasoline? If you have bought it, it means that you are no longer young hehe..

Pertamina had released gasoline under the name Super in the 1980s. Super comes with an octane rating of 95, arguably equivalent to Pertamax Plus for its current size.

Then came the international agreement that required unleaded gasoline.

So in the 1990s Super changed to Super TT (Lead Free) with the octane content increasing to 98.

Premix

This gasoline with the name Premix turns out to have a meaning, which stands for Premium Mixture which was released in the early 1990s.

Premix comes with the addition of Methyl Tertiary Buthyl Ether (MTBE).

Initially Premix had a minimum octane number of 92 like Pertamax. Then in 1994, the octane rating rose to 94 after it was approved by the Director General of Oil and Gas.
