Targeting the middle class, the Samsung Galaxy M62 was present in Indonesia in mid-June. This device offers qualified specifications. The most highlighted feature and the main selling point of the Galaxy 62 is its 7,000 mAh battery.
With such a large capacity, Samsung claims users can marathon watch series on Netflix for 33 hours. Or if you like video calls, it can be up to 19 hours, while for those who like gaming it can be used for up to 19 hours.
For the past few weeks, detiKINET also had the opportunity to try out the capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy M62 with the Silver-Green color variant. How is the performance and battery life? let’s see the review.
Prismatic Design
The Samsung Galaxy M62 has an attractive prismatic display with a combination of gradient colors plus a thin striped pattern that makes this phone look elegant.
With a 6.67-inch display with dimensions of 163.9 x 76.3 x 9.5 mm, holding the Galaxy M62 is still nice and comfortable, especially since the edges of the body are curved so navigating on the screen is quite easy.
Having a large battery feels natural if the Galaxy M62 weighs 216 grams with a screen thickness of 9.5 mm. The body of the Galaxy M2 is made of plastic where the screen surface also looks glossy or shiny.

And considering that Samsung doesn’t provide an additional softcase in the sales package, it seems mandatory for you to buy it because the body is easily scratched and also needs additional tempered glass because it’s easy to get fingerprints on it.
The physical button layout on the front of this device is ‘clean’, there is only an earpiece, for the front camera it is also located on the cellphone screen.
On the right side of the phone there is a volume +/- and power button which also functions as a fingerprint scanner sensor where the speed accuracy is very good and the left side is a place for the SIM card slot. For the bottom side there is a speaker hole, a 3.5mm audio jack hole and a USB type-C charger hole.
Turning to the back of the Galaxy M62 there are four cameras placed on a square module that has a striped pattern. Under the rear camera module there is an LED flash light.

The Galaxy M62 screen carries an infinity-O screen design where on the screen there is a punch hole or a small hole located in the top center of the screen. This punch hole is embedded with a 32 MP selfie camera that can be used to record 4K @ 30fps.
Not only serves for selfies, this front camera also functions as a face unlock to unlock the phone screen.
In addition, the Galaxy M62 has a Super AMOLED panel display with Full HD + resolution which has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels with a screen-to-body ratio of 86.7% and the screen can reach a brightness of up to 420 nits.
This also makes the Galaxy M62 able to present sharp visuals, pleasing to the eye and rich in color. With the almost bezel-less design of the Galaxy M62, it creates a wider aspect of the screen so that the experience of looking at the screen becomes bigger and more spacious.

To operate the Galaxy M62 screen such as browsing, scrolling social media, typing messages, it is very responsive and smooth without any problems.
