David Moreno, Councilor for Culture: “We resume this initiative for the enjoyment of neighbors in a safe way and combat the heat in these summer days, and we will continue in this line, promoting culture and making our city a benchmark.”
The Department of Culture, in the hands of David Moreno, will give the ‘kick-off’ to the ‘Summer Cinema’ program on the 9th with a full billboard that will summon the neighbors every Friday in Plaza de España. This activity will be carried out under strict anticovid protocol, in compliance with the regulations set, in this regard, by the health authorities, with limited capacity and the installation of 400 chairs. Access will be free and the invitation collection is not necessary. All tapes will be screened at 10:30 p.m., although attendees will be able to access the venue 30 minutes before the start. “We resume this initiative for the enjoyment of citizens in a safe way and combat the heat in these summer days, and we will continue in this line, promoting culture and making our city a benchmark,” said the councilor.
Thus, the opening of the billboard will be in charge of ‘Daggers from behind’, which will give way to ‘Onward’ (day 16). ‘The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle’ (Friday 23rd) and ‘There is only one father 2. The arrival of the mother-in-law’ (July 30th) round off this program.
