Paul de Leeuw would have liked to keep Ranking the Stars | Stars

entertainment">RTL reported Friday evening that Eddy Zoëy will be the new presenter of the RTL5 program. “Paul wishes Eddy a lot of fun and success with the program,” said his spokesman.

entertainment">Zoëy will present the program in his own way, in which casual celebrities answer unusual questions and measure each other. “I can’t help but be myself. I’m just not Paul de Leeuw, that man is unmatchable, he has a smile hanging from his pants. The only similarities are that I am also bald and am gaining weight.”

entertainment">Last September it was announced that RTL and De Leeuw, at the initiative of the presenter, separated. However, they continued to work together on a project basis. For example, De Leeuw made another series of Ranking the Stars and in December a Sinterklaas show.

entertainment">Ranking the Stars has been on television for almost fifteen years. In 2019, the program moved from BnnVara to RTL after De Leeuw made the switch to commercial broadcasting.
