Bad adventure for the passengers of theRyanair plane Brussels-Milan, evacuated after an illegal immigrant hid in the bathroom to reach Italy without the risk of being identified. In the end, however, the aircraft managed to leave, more than an hour late, from the Belgian capital and land at the Milanese airport. The man was arrested and transferred to the Hal-Vilvorde prosecutor’s office. A passenger on the flight to Milan said that the subject had tried shortly before to sit in seats already occupied by other people. Failing to do so, he then thought of locking himself in the plane’s bathroom until landing.
The plane was evacuated
The federal police confirmed what happened, specifying that the man had boarded the plane without having the documents. A police spokesperson explained that “The man caused trouble on the plane. He pushed the passengers and locked himself in the toilet. We finally managed to get him out without any problems. Since the man had also left his luggage on the plane, everyone had to leave. the plane in order to carry out a check “. The passengers on the flight had to wait about an hour on the runway for the situation to resolve. Fortunately, the aircraft eventually managed to leave Brussels to reach the Milanese capital, albeit with an hour and 20 minutes delay on the schedule.
He had no boarding documents
Giovanni D’Agata, president of the “Rights Desk”, stressed that it is yet to understand how the illegal immigrant managed to get on the aircraft without possessing the boarding documents necessary. What is known for the moment is that the man, on Thursday morning around 8.30 am, managed to create considerable problems on the Ryanair (Malta Air) flight registered 9H-QDS on Thursday departing from Brussels airport. In fact, he boarded flight FR2963 for Milan Malpensa without the necessary documents and, not finding a free seat, he locked himself in the bathroom of the vehicle, with the intention of probably remaining there for the entire duration of the trip. Federal police officers had to step in to arrest the individual.
At that point the plane was then evacuated to carry out all the necessary investigations and check the checked baggage. According to some testimonies of people present, he pushed the passengers to be able to reach the toilet and lock himself inside. The subject, however, decided to spontaneously leave the bathroom without creating further discomfort.
