Chartres Museum of Fine Arts (Eure-et-Loir), will play, like its European counterparts, extra time, this Saturday July 3, 2021, since for the 17th edition of the European Night of Museums, it will open from 8 p.m. to midnight.
This edition at Chartres will be placed under the sign of the discovery of the secrets of this place managed for a few months by Grégoire Hallé. Three students from Polytech school have imagined an interactive outdoor course, concocted on the basis of health instructions related to the Covid-19 crisis.
An intrigue to be solved outdoors
Visitors, equipped with their smartphone and a dedicated booklet available on the internet or at the reception of the Museum of Fine Arts, will have to foil a plot inspired by Etienne Barthélémy Garnier’s painting, theInterview with the Duke and Duchess of Angoulême.
An intrigue to unravel in seven steps, using a QR code that leads to a historical audio commentary.
And for those who are afraid of missing the boat, this course will be accessible all summer 2021.
European Night of Museums, Saturday July 3, 2021 from 8 p.m. to midnight, Museum of Fine Arts, 29 Notre-Dame cloister, Chartres. Free.
