Committed artist, Fanny Gillequin expresses her impressions of the destructive actions of human activities on the world, such as ocean pollution, climate change or the misuse of natural resources. Through the title of her exhibition, “Parasitiaque”, a somewhat barbaric term which mixes “parasite” and “paradisiac”, she wants to make visitors discover her impressions of this unbalanced relationship between man and the planet. In his satirical and imaginary works, the artist draws his resources from his many travels around the world, but also from history. Thus, a good number of them revive disappeared or sacred places to challenge the cultural genocide.
