The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, praised in the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CCP) the economic prosperity that this Asian country has achieved.
“The economic prosperity that China has achieved it’s really amazing, Especially in infrastructure! I encourage people to visit and see for themselves. ” wrote Musk on Twitter on Thursday in response to a post by the Chinese agency Xinhua quoting President Xi Jinping about Beijing’s achievement of the 100th anniversary goal.
Businessman public also the same message on the Chinese social network Weibo, where it has more than 1.7 billion followers.
This Thursday, Xi Jinping declared during a speech on the occasion of the CCP’s centennial that China achievement the goal of the first centenary, which was “build a moderately prosperous society in all respects”.
“This means that we have achieved a historic solution to the problem of absolute poverty in China, and now we are marching with sure steps towards the goal of the second centenary, which is to turn China into a great modern socialist country in all respects,” stressed the president, who is also the general secretary of the country’s Communist Party.
In recent years, China has become the second largest economy in the world and the largest recipient of foreign direct investment, as well as having one of the largest consumer markets in the world. Its GDP surpassed the threshold of 100 trillion yuan (about 15.470 trillion dollars).
