Reputation: – Konami has at least two Silent Hill games on the way

Konami recently entered into one collaboration with Polish Bloober Team – known for games like Observer and The Medium. The parties will work together to develop several new games, and according to rumors, Silent Hill will be one of the collaborative projects.

The rumors first appeared a few months ago, but have now gained new legs thanks to a report from VGC. The website has been in contact with sources with knowledge of Bloober Team’s plans, and these can tell that the developer is working on something that has a “connection to Silent Hill”.

In that case, it is in line with an earlier statement from Bloober boss Piotr Babieno. In February, Babieno hinted (via Gamesindustry.biz) that the team’s next project was a horror game from a well-known series, developed in collaboration with a well-known publisher. Silent Hill and Konami?

Furthermore, VGC claims that Konami has at least one other Silent Hill game in the oven. This is supposed to be developed by a well-known Japanese developer, but beyond that, the website has not revealed any details.

Already last year there were rumors that Konami wanted to put in place more than one Silent Hill game. These new rumors suggest that this is what is going to happen now, but until the Japanese company confirms something, just take everything with a pinch of salt.
