Get into conversation
The “Safe Life” initiative therefore focuses on discussions with the clear goal: “Violence, regardless of the direction from which it comes, must be prevented, and the efforts that we are making here are to establish contact with the communities and enter into a conversation with them, ”says former state police director Josef Klamminger.
“Don’t point your finger at others”
Above all, the increasing polarization that is emerging in such parallel societies must be prevented, says Werner Miedl, the managing director of “Safe Life”: “If atrocious acts of violence happen in Austria, then that is tragic enough, but please let us all forego it to make a political deal out of it. We have to make sure that we find a dialogue and not point the finger at others. ”A special focus of the“ Safe Living ”initiative is therefore to be intensive cooperation with Muslim teachers in Graz in the near future.
Arrest, arrest warrant and round table
In the case of the killing of a 13-year-old girl in Vienna-Donaustadt, the investigations are in full swing, in addition to a third arrest, it was announced on Thursday that another possible accomplice is being sought.
