Ecuador receives one million vaccines from Pfizer donated by the United States

On the afternoon of July 1, 2021, the first shipment with a million vaccines from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer donated by the United States government arrived at Quito’s Mariscal Sucre airport.

The US government made a commitment to Ecuador the donation of two million doses of that vaccine against Covid-19 to strengthen the government immunization plan.
