I used to think Instagram was a really great app…
but I’m starting it more and more on one Tell-Sell like platform. You know
that TV channel from back in the day where they sell all those “fantastic” products for a mega discount!
And my association with the Tell-Sell channel is always .. who buys this crap and quickly zap through.
Well, I get that feeling a bit as soon as I log in to Instagram!

If it is not the sponsored / paid advertisements, then it is the (stealth) advertisements of the so-called “influencers” who are supposedly very innocently recommending a product, but with a PROMO code at the bottom of the image and then we have it never heard of those cringy TikTok videos…

And now you can fortunately still skip or swipe these commercials, but if it continues like this … they will probably also become mandatory blocks.

I really hope that there will be another app that goes back to the original Instagram roots…
