Take part in the children’s adventure game ‘Emi and Rū’ and explore five neighborhoods of Riga

From July 1 to August 31, during the implementation of the Riga Summer Culture Program, Riga residents and guests will have the opportunity to participate in an adventure game “Emī un Rū Rū”, which will allow them to explore five neighborhoods of Rīga on their bike or other vehicle. The game will be especially enjoyed by children who have already fallen in love with Emilija, Rūdi and the robot Palauzi from the children’s series created in Latvia and the book “Emī un Rū Rū”. The game will be available to the first 2000 players free of charge.

The heroes of the “Emī un Rū” series and the book Emīlija Čimpiņa and Rūdis Rimpiņš work in the secret “Čimpiņ-Rimpiņ agency”, which is located here in Rīga. Every day, they perform a variety of tasks, which are assigned to them by the Robot Breaker or World Welfare Maintenance Device – researching strange things, taking care of animals, solving environmental problems and helping people and the world around them in various other ways.

This summer, from July 1 to August 31, everyone else who is interested and cares about the world, or this time more precisely, Riga, will have the opportunity to become a secret agent and solve the tasks given by Palauža. The mobile adventure game platform “Roadgames” has created a special adventure game for families “Emi and Rūda”, which will offer to independently feel the role of Emilia and Rūda and complete more than 50 exciting, educational and creative tasks that will allow you to get to know Riga, as well as fun and active spend time.

The adventure game will be suitable for children from at least six years of age and theirs families, because the route to be performed is not short – it leads through five neighborhoods of Riga – Center, Avotai, Grizinkalns, Bras, as far as Sarkandaugava, where the house or building of the “Cimpin-Rimpin Agency” is located, where the series is filmed. The total game time is six hours, the tasks can be completed in a mixed order, as well as – it is not necessary to complete all the tasks, but as many tasks as possible. The game can participate both individually (if age, experience and strength allow), as well as in a team, as well as forming several teams and competing with each other. At the end of the summer, the authors of the 10 funniest group or group photos will be presented with the book “Emi and Rū. Robot’s Heart”.

The adventure game “Emī un Rū” is organized by the children’s content producer “Ausma” and is included in the Riga Summer Culture Program, it is also supported by the Riga City Council and other cooperation partners.
