Due to Covid-19 and related restrictions, the music and art festival “Good Nature” has been moved to August 2022

Due to Covid-19 and related restrictions, the music and art festival “Good Nature” is postponed to August 5, 2022, Kristīne Griestiņa, the representative of the event organizers, informed LETA.

She said that ticket sales at “Biļešu servisa” ticket offices will not be stopped, noting that tickets purchased in 2020 and 2021 will also be valid at the 2022 festival, and it is not necessary to change them.

The organizers of the festival – the event agency “Pareizā kemija” and “Radio NABA” – pointed out that even under normal circumstances, the revenue from the sale of festival tickets does not cover the total organizational costs. They pointed out that this is the case for most concerts and festivals around the world. The budget of the festival consists of the contribution of several cooperation partners and each of them plays an important role.

“Due to the pandemic, budget planning is even more complicated, as additional costs have to be taken into account, such as testing and control of participants and visitors. Evaluating the risks and benefits for the general safety and health of the society, we understand that it is not possible to organize a festival that is pleasant for everyone this year, ”said the organizers of the event.

According to Griestiņa, the program for 2021 was not announced to the public due to Covid-19, as far as possible it will be maintained for the next year, providing about 60 concert programs and almost 20 performances and performances. In general, different music genres will be represented: reggae, folk, rock, electronics, punk, ska and other music performed by both domestic musicians and artists from abroad.

There will be a free guarded tent town in the beautiful apple orchard and a wide additional program of the festival with a garden of living dreams, short films, charity projects, sports tournaments, a fair, creative workshops, master classes and other events.
