Battered ‘mummy’ Primoz Roglic does not expect much from time trial: ‘Happy with every kilometer on the bike’ | Tour de France

sport">The Slovenian leader of Jumbo-Visma crashed hard in the third stage of last Monday and said before the fourth stage to Fougères that he hoped it would go well.

sport">Roglic posted a photo before the start showing how he was wrapped with plasters and bandages. “We managed to finish the stage, that was the goal for today,” he said afterwards. “It was a very tough day for me. From now on, we will see how things are going every day.”

sport">The Slovenian said he did not have too high expectations for Wednesday’s individual time trial. “Let’s just say I’m glad I’m still on track. I am happy with every kilometer on the bike and will do my very best. Then we’ll see where that takes me.”
