The City of Orlando is one of the vacancies that still remain with regard to hiring a head coach. However, the franchise would be very close to making a final decision.
At the moment there are three names that have sounded with special force. While yesterday the journalist Shams Charania cited Penny Hardaway as a serious candidate, the medium Bleacher Report today added two other potential contenders: Kenny Atkinson and Terry Stotts.
In a Monday Other potential head coaches have also emerged, including Phoenix Suns assistant Willie Green, Milwaukee Bucks assistant Charles Lee and San Antonio assistant Becky Hammon. All of them have already completed an interview with the Orlando board of directors.
Currently, Atkinson has served as Tyronn Lue’s assistant in Los Angeles, while Stotts is unemployed after closing a nine-year stint as Portland’s bench.
