Tangerang: South Tangerang City stated that it is enough to only conduct an antigen swab examination on patients in the testing and tracing process covid-19 because it is classified as B. With that classification, officers do not have to do a PCR Swab to find out someone has been exposed to COVID-19.
“Right now, we are in South Tangerang classified B. Classification B is the antigen swab, it can be declared or considered positive. So only with the antigen swab it has been declared positive. So there is no need for PCR,” said Head of the South Tangerang Health Office, Alin Hendarlin, in Tangerang South, Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

He explained that the Antigen Swab tool currently being carried out by a number of health centers in South Tangerang is still quite available. So the tracing and testing actions carried out by the Puskesmas can continue.
He also made sure the health center was only enough to ask for an additional Antigen Swab tool if it needed more massive testing and tracing.
“Actually, if we still have the antigen (in stock) at the Health Office. So it’s only up to the puskesmas to submit it to us according to our needs, we will still fulfill it,” said Alin.
