The month of June is coming to an end and with it all the events that have come, but do not worry, as new news arrives in the July bulletin, the month where GO Fest 2021 will be held.
If you think that GO Fest will be the only event that will take place in July, you are very wrong, since new news is coming to the world of Pokémon GO, we will tell you:
Research achievement meeting
From Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 10:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 10:00 p.m. CEST, Rufflet will be the Pokémon that can be obtained in the Weekly Research Achievements.
As an additional bonus and as it happened in June, completing the weekly research achievement will allow you to get a remote raid pass, and you will be able to get double the experience thanks to the Season of Discoveries.
Pokémon in Raids
Raid bosses are also changing, making way for the following Pokémon in 5-star Raids:
- Bidoof will appear in the five-star raids on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. Hopefully you’ll even see some Shiny Bidoofs!
- The Singular Pokémon Deoxys will appear in its Defense Form in five-star raids from Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. to Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo will appear in five-star raids from Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM to Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM local time. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Mewtwo!
- Different Pokémon will also appear in the five-star raids on the second day of the Pokémon GO Festival 2021, don’t miss out! Only Mewtwo will be seen as a GO Fighting League match for Trainers ranked 20 or higher on the second day of the 2021 Pokémon GO Festival.
- Keep an eye out for updates on which Pokémon will appear in five-star raids after July 23.
In the case of Mega Raids, these will be their featured Pokémon:
- Mega-Houndoom will appear in Mega Raids from Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 8:00 PM to Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM (local time).
- Mega-Gengar will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM to Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM (local time).
- Mega-Charizard X will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM to Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM (local time).
As usual, on Wednesdays the highlighted hours will be held where from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in local time:
- Wednesday, July 7, 2021: Deoxys Form Defense
- Wednesday, July 14, 2021: Deoxys Form Defense
- Wednesday July 21, 2021: Mewtwo
- Wednesday July 28, 2021: for advertising
Featured time
It is already common, and like every Tuesday in the previous months from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, there will be a Pokémon that will have its highlighted time with a different bonus, they will be the following:
- Tuesday, July 6, 2021: Bulbasaur will be the protagonist and you will win the Double XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 13, 2021: Charmander will be the protagonist and you will win the Double Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 20, 2021: Squirtle will be the protagonist and you will win the double the number of candies to transfer Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 27, 2021: Natu will be the protagonist and you will win the double XP when evolving Pokémon.
Community day
On Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, there will be a Community Day event with Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokémon.
Events
These will be the events that will be in Pokémon GO this July, highlighting the global event that will be the GO Fest, and more:
- Pokémon GO Anniversary Celebration: From Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. local time, Pokémon GO will celebrate its fifth anniversary. For now, the details of this event are unknown, but will come to light shortly.
- GO Fight Night: On Sunday, July 11, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time, you will enjoy the second night of GO Fighting Night. Fight 100 battles and you will receive triple Stardust for winning, finishing a round of battles, and ranking up in the GO Battles League. Please note that the Stardust bonus during GO Battle Night will not be combined with the double Stardust bonus from the GO Fighting League that will be active from Monday, July 28, 2021 to Monday, July 12, 2021 .
- Festival de Pokémon GO 2021: The biggest event of the year is almost here, and you still have time to buy your tickets! The Pokémon GO Festival will be held on July 17 and 18 and each will have a unique experience.
These will be the events that will be available this month, highlighting the arrival of Deoxys in its Defense form, the most useful of its forms in PVP, and Mewtwo, one of the most desired and useful Legendary Pokémon.
In terms of events, the GO Fest will be the highlight of this month, and also the event for the 5 years of Pokémon GO, which will surely bring great surprises to all players.
