Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Shares of listed coal mining contractor PT Ultima Nitra Tbk (UNIQ) and Bakrie Group mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were the top gainers in Tuesday’s trading (29/6/2021).
At different poles, the shares of cigarette producer PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk (WIIM) and shares of pharmaceutical issuer and manufacturer of swab antigen test kit PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk (IRRA) fell as ‘losers’.
After briefly blushing, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) finally managed to rebound today. JCI slightly strengthened 0.16% to 5,949.050 at the close of the second trading session on Tuesday (29/6).
According to IDX data, 178 stocks rose, 333 stocks declined and 137 stocks remained stagnant, with a transaction value reaching Rp 11.53 trillion and trading volume reaching 23.29 billion shares.
Foreign investors in the stock market entered the country’s burda with a record foreign net purchase of Rp 161.91 billion in the regular market. Meanwhile, foreigners recorded net sales in the negotiating market and cash market of Rp 68.08 billion.

According to the data above, UNIQ’s shares managed to lead the ‘standings’ by shooting up to the top auto rejection (ARA) 34.94% to Rp 112/share. This stock managed to rebound from the 2.35% correction on Monday (28/6) yesterday.
Besides UNIQ, BRMS shares also jumped 18.63% to Rp 121/share, after dropping 4.67% on Monday. In a week BRMS shares soared 34.44%, while in a month rose 26.04%.
The latest news, BRMS through a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) is aggressively expanding drilling and building factories to achieve the target of processing 8,500 tons of gold ore per day.
Director & Investor Relations of BRMS Herwin Hidayat said there were at least 3 company expansion plans that had been started last year. This expansion is carried out through the company’s subsidiary, namely PT Citra Palu Minerals.
The first expansion plan is the drilling of 4 gold prospects in Poboya, Palu, Central Sulawesi, starting in the second quarter of 2021.
“We will announce the results soon, namely in the first stage in November 2021. The target is that we hope to find additional gold ore reserves of around 5 million tons in the form of reserves and resources,” said Herwin in a recent discussion.
Meanwhile, WIIM shares plunged to reach the lower auto rejection limit (ARB) of 6.77% to Rp 620/share. Market participants seem to take profit (profit taking) after this stock drove in the green zone for 3 days in a row.
A quarter of three, IRRA shares also fell 5.32%, after accelerating for the previous 2 days. Last Monday, this stock was in the position of 2 top gainers after closing up 16.18%. With this, IRRA shares are still up 6.25% in the week and up 16.15% in the month.
