The Facebook message, in which the police warned of a scam, has been removed. The letter appears to have actually been sent by Rabobank. A police spokesperson said when asked that the letter did not ask to send a bank card, as suggested earlier. Further details are unknown.
The police have apologized and further say that it remains important to warn people about fraudsters, but that it was not necessary in this case.
