Christina Aguilera (40) supports her colleague Britney Spears (39). The singer posted on Twitter a statement in which she supports Spears in the fight against her longstanding guardianship. The 39-year-old had last week in a court hearing called for this to be ended after 13 years.
“For the past few days I’ve been thinking about Britney and everything she’s going through,” Aguilera tweeted over an older photo of the two. It is “unacceptable”, said the singer, that a person who wants to be in control of their own destiny should not live the way they want.
