Better not to look for butts at a gendarme… And even less when they are close to two hundred. Indeed, the school of Montlucon (Allier) hosts the French gendarmerie cross-country championships, this Tuesday, June 29, on its ground in Méry. With four races on the program, from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
The paths
Some participants from all over France will be present, including fifty-five from the Montluçon police school. And they will have a lot to do:

In short, a good “warm-up” before the French military championships (gendarmerie, army, air and navy) cross-country. Which will be held on this same Méry site on September 29 next, in the presence this time of some 350 competitors. “It’s a satisfaction for the school, it allows us to shine and show that we have the capacity to mount this kind of events”, concludes Lieutenant Beaugrand.

– 8 hours. : start of the men’s cross Masters (8 km).
– 9 hours: women’s cross (8 km).
– 10 hours: men’s cross short (5 km).
– 10:45 am: men’s long cross (9 km).
