Police have arrested a second suspect for stabbing a plainclothes officer in Bingelrade. It concerns a 17-year-old boy from Brunssum.
Shortly after the incident in the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police already arrested a 20-year-old man, also from Brunssum.
The reason for the stabbing incident was an argument about scooters that regularly drive through the village. According to neighbors, the victim spoke to some boys at a meeting center in the village, reports 1Limburg.
The agent also lives in the village and was not on active duty at the time. He is in hospital and his condition is stable.
