A 35-year-old man was admitted to a hospital in Plovdiv as a matter of urgency after colliding head-on with his motorcycle in a truck on the Devin-Krichim road. The accident happened yesterday afternoon.
The motorcyclist from Panagyurishte was riding in a group with other motorcycles in the direction of Devin. He was 3rd or 4th in the group, before him another motorcycle from the company would have crashed into the truck, but missed by a hair.
The injured man entered the opposite lane with his motorcycle before a turn and collided head-on with the truck, which, due to the danger of the previous motorcycle, reduced the speed to the extreme and had almost stopped. The motorcyclist jumped out of the impact and had very severe injuries to his body.
The engine caught fire, but the 33-year-old driver of the truck managed to put out the fire.
